Below is the branding for a proposed lecture by designer Cipe Pineles, the art director of Glamour, Charm, and Seventeen magazines. Because of her influential work with multiple editorial companies, the branding reflects a magazine-like quality, with Didot as the leading typeface paired with sketches of modern working women.
Cipe was known for hosting frequent dinner parties and embroidering personalized napkins for her dinner guests. To honor this tradition of hers, I embroidered a personalized napkin as a gift to thank her for her lecture and for her time.
